Relationships Between Fish Sizes and Otolith Sizes for Three Different Gray Mullet Species from Köyceğiz Lagoon (Muğla)

چکیده
Bu çalışmada, Köyceğiz Lagünü'ndeki üç kefal balığı türünde balık boyutu ve otolit boyutları arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. 119 adet Mugil cephalus Linnaeus, 1758, 91 Chelon labrosus (Risso, 1827) 53 saliens 1810) olmak üzere toplam 263 balığının boyu ile sağ sol otolitlerinin boyu, genişliği ölçülmüş ağırlıkları tartılmıştır. Sağ ölçümleri arasında fark istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmadığı için bu çalışmada ölçümlerinin ortalaması kullanılmıştır. Kefal balıklarının ortalama total boyları M. cephalus, C. sırasıyla 29.0 cm, 26.0 22.5 cm tespit edilmiştir. incelenen balıklarda en büyük 11.66 mm bireylerinde, küçük ise 2.93 bireylerinde ölçülmüştür. Otolit uzunluk biyometrik ilişkiler, tüm türlerin güvenilir boyut tahminleri oldukça uygun olduğunu göstermiştir (r2=0.912).
